Raphaël Dewandre & Saïd Benakli

We have known each other for 25 years. Throughout this time, we have forged a friendship based on a shared philosophy: the conviction that European gastronomic excellence is a form of culture that must be shared.

Our connection with Uruguay and Argentina began with Raphaël, who first arrived in José Ignacio in search of new horizons, finding a unique ecosystem in the world.

Later, he landed in Argentina, getting to know its capital and the south of the country. Saïd, after visiting these places repeatedly and being captivated by their mystique, decided to follow in his footsteps and settle there permanently.

Together, we discovered an exceptional meeting point on the Uruguayan coast where a growing international community now resides, choosing this environment to live in all year round.

We chose Uruguay & Argentina because we understood that this axis has become a cosmopolitan haven with a sophisticated and permanent demand.

Here, the most discerning public coexists with a first-class hospitality sector: renowned hotel chains and restaurants led by world-renowned chefs who demand the same quality standards as in major capitals.

Noting the gap between what this community seeks and what the local market offers, we decided to transform our experience and network of contacts in France, Spain and Italy into a strategic bridge.

We founded Les Bons Vivants to connect producers who respect origin with the most select hotels, establishments and homes in Uruguay & Argentina.

We are not mass distributors; we are curators. We care for the context of each product.

We apply to our management the same rigor we demand at our own tables, ensuring that your label is a protagonist in the most exclusive settings in the region.

Today we reside between Mendoza, Argentina and José Ignacio, Uruguay.

Our commitment is to ensure that European gastronomic excellence finds its ideal setting here.
